East Wickham Christian Fellowship held an Any Questions evening on Friday (19 June) at the St Michaels Community Centre in Wrotham Road, Welling. In the Chair was retired banker and former Scout District Commissioner Colin Hopkins.

The panel at the well attended meeting comprised Matt Baker, Chaplain to Charlton Athletic, Gill Buckenham of Victim Support Welling, Bill Price MBE, Chairman of Welling Town Partnership, Paul Stead, a pupil of BETHS Grammar School and myself.

The questions ranged widely from the Licensing Laws, Sunday sport, footballers wages and the current economic recession to the NHS, discrimination against Christians, and the EU.

Afterwards Fellowship Chairman Michael Macey gave the vote of thanks, members celebrated Compline and then relaxed for a cup of tea, cake and chat.
